YOUR DREAMS: Interested or Committed?

Have you ever heard people say that they would Love to travel or more, or learn more languages, or create a profitable business with this idea that they’ve been holding onto for the past 5 years?

Maybe that person is you. We all say things that we want to do or would “love” to do, but how serious are we?

Are you Interested or Committed?

If you are interested, it’s a nice to have, not a need to have. If it doesn’t happen, well, you did spend lots of time in your comfort zone over the past 5 years and there is something to be said for that.. Right?

If you are committed, you are going to have it, because you will do anything and everything it takes to make it happen. Those people around you starting businesses, or moving to Europe, or quitting their job to do something they Love, they are committed.

What is holding you back from the amazing dreams and ideas that you’ve thought of for yourself? Are you ready to be committed?

Break through the Fear and take small steps towards your goals.

Safety First

Your brain is trained to look out for you. Its thinking safety first all of the time and you are now putting it at risk. You may have to burn more calories of energy, get out of your comfort zone, you might fail. The first step is recognizing this and being ok with it.

See the Future

Visualize the results of your hard work. Keep visualizing. Your brain doesn’t know the difference between your visualizations and your reality. So keep visualizing and your brain will create new pathways for you to get there.

Your Pathway

To quote Martin Luther King Jr.:

“Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”

Trust me when I tell you that when you start down the path to your dream life, you won’t know every step, event or obstacle that may come your way, but when that time approaches, you will know exactly what to do.

Your experiences in your life have brought you to exactly where you are right now. When you were a kid, you didn’t know how you would get into college or buy a house or take care of a dog on your own. Every instance and step you’ve taken in your life has granted you the lessons and knowledge to be able to do so today. You might not know everything you need yet, but keep going down the path and you will get there. I promise.

Make sure you are committed to it. Make a vision board, or get someone to hold you accountable. For me, my fear of failing has kept me motivated and committed. I have also worked with coaches to help me stay on course, teach me things and allow me to get results much quicker.

If you are ready to commit to your future and make your dreams a reality give me a call. I would love to see if we would be a good fit for each other and confirm that you are committed to your dreams and not just interested.
